Downton Gorge National Nature Reserve - a review with special reference to fungi, lower plants and birds

This 100-page review of the natural history of Downton Gorge was published in Dec. 2011. It has been written by three experts in the fields of fungi, lower plants and birds. Tom Wall managed Downton Gorge NNR from 1986 to 2010. For comparison, the authors have made use of earlier records of the Woolhope club and an archive of Dr Bull's sketches, notes and photographs at the Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew. There are full lists of Downton Gorge fungi and lower plants.

The book is paperback, with 8 pages of colour illustrations plus a map of the NNR. It costs £4.50 plus £1.50 p&p. Cheques made payable to 'Woolhope Naturalists Field Club' should be sent to the Treasurer:
